It didn't turn as blue as I expected but that's a small issue. The taste is clean and refreshing.

Such good tea. I tried some nice sencha about ten years ago from a now company, which no longer exists. I haven't been able to find such high-quality sench until now.

The Shizuoka collection was the perfect gift for my green tea-loving girlfriend, who loved the unique flavours and the fact it comes from local farmers in Japan. She’s yet to find green tea quite like it anywhere in Denmark!

Very nice grassy smell but not overwhelming. Leaves a nice after taste on the palette. Recommended.

I really enjoy the bright bluish green color of the tea as well as the taste so much! The color is brightly dark, but the intensity is just perfectly balanced mildness and bitterness with slight sweetness - not astringent at all. I am so proud of their perfect work! Drinker friendly even for Japanese. Good as a gift to my foreign friends as well as for myself as daily treat!

I loved the balance and the flavour consistency in the 3 servings I prepared. Umami is present throughout the tastings.

Excellent Gift

I was looking for a great gift for my colleagues which would be thoughtful, unique and have positive impact on my community. I was delighted to be introduced to Cup of Japan and their beautiful product range. I sent the Sakura tea to colleagues in three different countries and had fantastic support from the Cup of Japan team to make my complicated order go smoothly. My colleagues were delighted to have this beautifully packaged gift and a bit of Japan delivered to their homes. I will be using this company again in the near future.
